Condition of Books:

Every comic is inspected for condition before it leaves our warehouse. Books are guaranteed to be in Fine Condition (the vast majority of what we sell is Very Fine to Near Mint, but sometimes lesser books slip through the cracks).

Books are graded using the industry standard grading guidelines as prescribed by the The Overstreet Comic Book Price Guide Copyright 2006 Gemstone Publishing Inc. For a more detailed description of these grading terms http://www.gemstonepub.com/archive/06_grading.asp

Packaging:

When shipping your books we take the utmost care to insure the condition of your books upon arrival.

All our books are bundled in lots of up to 15 books in a standard comic or magazine bag with a backing board. The bundle is then securely affixed to a ridged cardboard backer. Orders of up to 15 comics are then affixed to a 2nd ridged cardboard backer, sandwiching the books between the 2 pieces of cardboard, placed in a cardboard mailing envelope, then shipped. Larger orders are bundled in the same manor, but stacked in a large ridged cardboard shipping box that is form fitting to the card boarded bundles to not allow sliding or shifting during shipping. Please note that for extremely large orders that have opted for free parcel post shipping, we reserve the right to use alternate packaging methods to accommodate the orders size, but still retain the same packaging integrity.

All orders are accompanied by an easy to read invoice.

Shipping:

We ship all orders via USPS. Our standard shipping and handling rates allow for your books to be shipped via USPS Priority shipping (USPS Priority is 2-3 transit time). Orders usually leave our warehouse with in 24 hours of payment confirmation from Pay Pal. Please allow 24-72 hours for very large orders to be processed, especially during high volume shopping seasons. Orders of 100 comics from our regular inventory (weekly specials do not add to the book total for free shipping) or more are elligable for free Parcel Post shipping (USPS Parcel Post is 4-10 days transit time).

We currently do not ship internationally.

Returns and Damages:

We can only guarantee the condition of your comics as handled by Fearless Readers Online. We are not liable for comics that are damaged by the USPS. We highly recommend taking the insurance option for shipping. If a comic does arrive in less than Fine Condition (and was not damaged by USPS in shipping), we will gladly replace it or refund your money for the book. Please direct all damage and return questions and correspondences to customer_service@fearlessreadersonline.com Just to reiterate, if we ship a book to you that fell through the cracks of our grading and is less than Fine Condition, we will gladly refund or replace the book. If your comics arrive mangled by the carrier or get soaked by the rain on your porch, unless you took the shipping insurance option, we are sadly unable to help.

Misfiled / Mislisted Books

While we do strive to make sure that all the books in our inventory are listed properly and filed correctly in our warehouse, due to the enormous volume of books that we deal with, occasionally books are misfiled or mislisted. On those rare occasions that a customer places an order for a book that was mislisted in our inventory or is misfiled in the warehouse and unable to be located, the customer will be offered their choice of two options. We will contact the customer via e-mail to apprise them of the misfiled/mislisted book. At the customers discretion we can either, fill the order with an alternate book of the customers choice or issue a refund check to the customer via USPS mail.

Condition of Graphic Novels

While new, our graphic novels are overstocks, remainders, and/or returns from mass market book sellers. As such the graphic novels generally have been handled and many show minor shelf wear.

Graphic novels may also have a remainder mark or occasionally a major book seller's in house bar code affixed over the publishers bar code.

Packaging of Graphic Novels

All of our graphic novels are shipped individually bagged. For small orders, graphic novels are taped to cardboard shipping pads (just like our comics) then placed in the hardshell cardboard bookfold mailer for shipping. For larger orders of graphic novels, the books are bundled into larger lots with shipping pads, then cubed with packing tape. The cube is then placed inside a larger box with shipping peanuts or foam.

Shipping of Graphic Novels

We ship all Graphic Novels via USPS. Our standard shipping and handling rates allow for your graphic novels to be shipped via USPS Media Mail (Transit time is usually 3-9 days.) Orders usually leave our warehouse with in 24 hours of payment confirmation from Pay Pal. Please allow 24-72 hours for very large orders to be processed, especially during high volume shopping seasons.

Returns and Damages of Graphic Novels

We can only guarantee the condition of your graphic novels as handled by Fearless Readers Online. We are not liable for graphic novels that are damaged by the USPS. We highly recommend taking the insurance option for shipping. Occasionally a bad graphic novel may fall through the cracks and end up in a customers hands. If that happens, please contact us at customer_service@fearlessreadersonline.com to make arrangements to return the defective novel for either a refund or a replacement.
